Parents are essential partners with First Montessori School of Atlanta in the education of children.
Our parent organization, IMPACT, mobilizes and coordinates volunteers for many events throughout the year.
IMPACT (Involved Montessori Parents in ACTion) was started in 1992 by a group of parents as a support system to the staff, teachers and students of FMSA. IMPACT is a vehicle through which parents have the opportunity to become an active part of the school community. Our children benefit through seeing their parents “caring through action” about the total school environment. The staff benefits from the extra support, both concrete and in spirit, given by parents. Parents have the opportunity to become involved and make a difference in their child’s educational experience at FMSA.
Many avenues are available through which parents can become actively involved, in either short-term or long-term roles.
