The Montessori Difference

Can you imagine an environment in which the teacher is a guide, maximizing your child’s curiosity and cultivating a love of learning? In our classrooms, teachers are often called guides as they link children to concepts that excite their interests while also guiding students to develop a sense of responsibility. As a result, students are highly motivated to know and to apply knowledge.

Can you imagine a classroom which is spacious, full of natural light and beautiful materials? Can you imagine a classroom which includes an outdoor garden, an 86 acre Landschool, the freedom to move and interact while learning? Our classrooms incorporate challenging, hands-on experiences as well as the opportunity to read or create in a beautiful nook. As a result, learning and problem solving are experienced much like your work day; the outcomes of which are awards unto themselves.

Can you imagine a classroom of mixed-aged students who learn and teach one another, building a team much like the ones they will encounter in college and the work world? Our classrooms support the students’ ability to work in groups, manage their time, direct their work and develop the social skills necessary to be effective in the world. The Montessori experience prepares students for life – life in college and beyond. As such, our graduates are well prepared for high school.

If you can imagine it, then make an appointment to see the Montessori difference for yourself.
