First Montessori School of Atlanta (FMSA) is the oldest Montessori school in the Southeast, educating children from ages 2 ½ to 14.

We are recognized by Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SAIS/SACS). We are non-sectarian, non-profit and governed by a Board of Trustees.

Families joining the First Montessori community come from all over the world. This cultural and ethnic diversity is celebrated in our school and woven into the classroom studies.
