The First Montessori community is supported by parents, grandparents and friends who contribute their time, talents and resources to the school to support all aspects of campus life.

Family involvement makes possible events such as Field Day, the Montessori Mile Fun-Run, and the annual Spring Auction, just to name a few. Annual special events such as the Opera and Grandparents & Special Friends Day are eagerly anticipated by families who look forward to assisting in a variety of roles.

IMPACT (Involved Montessori Parents in ACTion), our parent organization, meets monthly to support upcoming events as well as special programs and community service projects. Parents also support teachers in the classrooms by bringing snacks and flowers, working in the gardens, and assisting on field trips and many other helpful tasks.
